About Us
Adkins Performance Horses is owned and operated by Aubrey Adkins Pyles, a lifelong equestrian with over two decades of hands-on experience in horse training, care, and competition. Specializing in multiple disciplines, including barrel racing, western pleasure, and groundwork, Aubrey has been teaching riders of all ages and skill levels for many years, with a strong focus on safety, confidence, and horsemanship.
In 2020, Adkins Performance Horses began managing the Ohio Horse Park, formerly operated by Ohio University Southern. Since then, APH has continued to grow, offering structured riding lessons, training services, clinics, and events, all within a welcoming and educational environment for riders and horses alike.

We offer full-care boarding at Ohio Horse Park, with oversized stalls, hay and grain twice a day, wash bays, crosstie areas, 2 indoor arenas, 3 large outdoor arenas, hot walker, access to trails, and more.
Lessons
Boarding
We offer lessons to clients 4 years and older, from beginner to advanced. Specialty lessons in multiple disciplines are also offered for those looking for instruction on a specific goal.
