Private Lesson - $65

Standard Lesson - $45

Specialty Lesson - $65

Lessons take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on what we're focusing on or whether the student needs more time.

Depending on the season, it can be very hot or cold even in the indoor arena. Appropriate clothing for the weather, long pants (legs should be covered for safety), boots or sturdy shoes with enclosed toes and heels. A helmet is required for anyone under the age of 18. We have a very limited supply of sizes, so if you are able to purchase your own we recommend that you do so.

Yes, located above this FAQ section you will find a "Student Information Form". Please fill out the form and either send via email to ohplessons@gmail.com or print and bring a completed copy to your first lesson.

The parking lot is on the left, just past the first pastures and the row of horse trailers, unless handicap parking is required. Please contact us for more information about accessibility. 

You will need to walk around the large indoor arena and find a staff member at the main barn, which is on the other side. 

Due to frequent large equipment operation and the handling of horses, you will need to park in the main parking lot for the safety of your vehicles, our other students, and our horses. We appreciate your understanding!

No, you do not need to have your own horse. We have many lesson horses available.

You may schedule lessons as frequently or as little as you would like. Most students do weekly.

Lessons are scheduled Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise noted on the Ohio Horse Park Facebook page. 

During the warmer months, lessons are limited to morning or evenings, to avoid straining the lesson horses during the hottest parts of the day.
